We spent Friday night at the Double D Ranch and woke up to snow flurries and the best damn frittata I have ever had the pleasure of eating!

After a leisurely morning, we loaded up and headed out in search of a Christmas tree. Stephen had previously selected a tree lot with fair prices and lovely trees.

We spent about 15 minutes eyeing the three or so $30 trees, unable to make a decision. The anxious salesman finally told us he could offer one of the $80 trees for $45, $47.59 with tax, because the top was crooked. Stephen was sold! The price seemed high but I relented—who wants to drive around town all morning just to save 10 bucks? Not me!

I later heard from a friend that one particular lot in town sells all their trees for $19.99, no matter the size or height.
