It appears as though I have lost some pictures. As in the external hard drive I carelessly stash in my bag is not retrieving my picture folder. As in the folder is not even appearing as available for use. As in it no longer seems to exist.

As in I am too scared to check the desktop, but I don't think I have backed up the external hard drive in a year or so. This means I have lost at least one year of photos!!!!!!!!!
