twilight screening
11:41 PMIt's probably not what you think. I've never seen a Twilight movie or read any of the books.
Our neighbors did, however, screen a movie on their garage on Friday night!
Stephen and I headed down to their house at about nine o'clock with our lawn chairs and a blanket. We were met by a dozen or so kids all hopped up on juice boxes and chocolate chip cookies. Henry and Wyatt were in heaven.
Our neighbors even rented a popcorn machine! It was pretty cool.
As soon as it was dark enough all the kids found a chair and a blanket. Henry and Wyatt were fortunate and had low back chairs, which equaled front row seats. And then we all settled in to watch The Incredibles.
It was a late night. The boys didn't get to bed until 11:45! We think that might be the latest they've ever stayed up. But I've always wanted to watch a movie outside and it reminded me of nights at the drive-in when I was kid. Awesome. Totally awesome.

Wow...it's like you live in like a neighborhood from the olden-times with like community and stuff...weird.
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, this is awesome! Taking into account all previous posts as well as this, those munchkins are going to have the best childhood memories everrrrr. I want to have an outdoor movie party! Fun!
