cowboy belts and pipe cleaners
11:32 PMLast November, Wyatt told us that they needed cowboy belts and pipe cleaners for kindergarten. I have no idea why. He said it so matter of fact and there was no arguing with him.
Yesterday morning we made sure each of the boys had both.
I only cried a little bit. At the very end. When it was evident that they were happy and excited to be sitting at their tables. That they didn't need us to stay and make sure everything was okay. They just needed us to go so that kindergarten could start. So big.

ReplyDeleteI had to come back and look at this one again when I saw their little photo on facebook - look at their little outfits! And those little backpacks! I'm so impressed that you are all so grown-up and well-adjusted about all this. Also, it's waaaaaay too adorable that you put their belts in little gift bags to make the first day of school special! You are such thoughtful parents!
