11:00 PMI was up early and by myself on Saturday when heard the now routine cock-a-doodle-doo! Shortly after this post, Stephen caught Cathy in the act of crowing and confirmed she was our morning noisemaker. Since then, I twice heard her crowing and tried to get it on camera without any luck.
But not this time. Silly Cathy.

I talked to Lacie recently and she said she doesn't have a rooster either but she has a hen that crows.
ReplyDeleteAccording to her if you don't have a rooster one of the hens can become dominant and then start to crow.
Who knew?
Well, I guess Cathy rules the roost at our house!
