Last Wednesday we loaded up the car and headed to Condo Town for a little family vacation. I kept trying to call it a stay-cation because we didn't leave Idaho, but Stephen insists it was a real vacation because we left our house. He says tomato, I say tomato. Regardless, we got away to Condo Town (aptly named by the boys) for 4 nights and 4 days!

Stephen and I had this genius plan to roll into town and stop for pizza. Actually, we were going to stop in Hailey and go here. But we made good time and decided to drive all the way to Ketchum. What's another 15 minutes? It was nothing. However, we were unable to find either of the pizza parlors on our hit list.

So after a quick squabble and two failed attempts to ask a fireman for help (seriously), we landed at Rico's. We sat on a lovely patio, had a drink, ran into an old friend, and settled into our vacation. Well, at least Stephen and I did.

The boys, on the other hand, were pissed! They uncharacteristically did not want to eat dinner at a restaurant. They were uninterested in ordering pizza. They are so over coloring sheets. And they didn't want to sit still after having just spent 2.5 hours in the car! They just wanted to be at the condo!

Needless to say, dinner was a bit of a disaster. Not only was our food disappointingly tasteless, the boys ran wild! Toward the end of our meal, Wyatt noticed the point and shoot travel camera in my purse. And so the boys took all of these pictures (while they weren't climbing trees or running down the sidewalk) and were able to entertain themselves for a few minutes.















Luckily, our first stop was not predictive our entire family vacation. We had lots of fun filled excursions. And you can bet your bottom dollar that there are more stories and pictures to come!
