I will confess that I did in fact read Rob Lowe’s autobiography. And I liked it, so there! 

Although I am not about to start recommending it to my friends, I have no problem recounting tales from Rob's life at dinner parties. You would really be amazed to learn how relevant the book is to so many topics. I have seriously been mentioning the things I read in that book at least once a week since I finished it in mid-September. 

In fact, yesterday morning in the car, this song came on the radio. It’s really surprising that we were listening to that particular radio station at all. Stephen is a hardcore NPR fan and only listens to songs from a few select CDs he keeps in the car. I actually make a point to put the radio back on NPR before I get out of the car so that he thinks I am constantly listening to NPR, too. I don’t think it fools him.

So I turned to Stephen and said, Did you know this song is from St. Elmo’s Fire? Rob Lowe was in that movie, although I knew that before I read his book.

Stephen just looked at me and laughed. I decided to keep to myself that Rob Lowe learned how to play the saxophone for that role and he practiced really hard.
