melon valley harvest

Last Sunday we joined Grandma and Grandpa for a harvest party in Melon Valley just outside of Hagerman. I’d never heard of Melon Valley until last week. I thought it was some name Glenn had made up but it’s a real place. I just googled it.
It was a two hour drive--each way--but it was well worth it. The boys had a blast. We rode a wagon that took us to a corn maze and a pumpkin patch. The boys each picked a big 'ol pumpkin that they decorated with paint, stickers, glitter, and googlie eye balls. Plus, there was a bounce house and hamburgers!
