twin tuesdays: it's valentine's day
6:37 AMSo even though I have tons to say about raising twins (being that I've suppressed it for so long), it's Valentine's Day and we made super cute valentines that needed to be shown off!
The thing I like best about blogging is all the other crafty blog gals out there willing to share their crafty ideas. I am all about the free printables, especially for occasions like Valentine's Day.
This year I found awesome free printables at dandee-designs.com via Pinterest. Henry and Wyatt's school does not permit edible treats, so I had to find some clever way to package a small toy. Which is my preference anyway - there's already too much candy in the world.
Henry had love bug valentines and Wyatt had magnifying glasses. I think they kind of go well together and are great ideas for boys. I did all the gluing and cutting and they wrote their names on 23 little cards.

Both valentines turned out super cute, although our pirate valentines with little felt eye patches shaped like hearts from last year are still my favorite.
And then, of course, I had to find a little valentine of each of them. Because there is nothing like loading your kids up on sugar at 6:30 am to ensure they'll have a successful day, they woke up to a sweet breakfast treat!
(I love those sleepy faces!)
I also snuck a little brownie bite with heart sprinkles into their lunch bags. How do you celebrate Valentine's Day for your children? Big gifts or little tokens of love? A card? Lot's of extra kisses? Just curious.
Happy Valentine's Day!
(the love tags on their milk glasses were printed for free from Mooo found via Creature Comforts)
