'Member when a few weeks ago I took a little hiatus from blogging? Well, there are a handful of reasons as to why and I am slowly gathering stories and pictures from some of those reasons.

First up is a visit from our friends Rob and Kisha. We love Rob and Kisha. Stephen has known Rob since undergrad and we all spent three years together in Missoula - and I love Missoula. I have very fond memories from Missoula. I miss that place.

We also love Rob and Kisha's families. Kisha has a sweet southern mama who is oh so kind to us. Rob's entire family lives in or around Portland. During our short stint in P-town they took us in and loved us as their own. And we loved them right back!

Anyway, enough will all the love business. Sadly, this is Rob and Kisha's first appearance on the ol' blog. They've been living in stupid Iowa City for three years now and we rarely get to see them. So it was a treat to host them for two nights back in May. And it was a treat to spend some time with their son Wil. This was only the second time ever  that we've seen Wil live and in person! And he is such a cutie!



As you can see, it was a low key visit. Lots of reading, some playing, a little eating, and a trip next door to visit Brownie. And hopefully we'll get to do again sooner than later - because we really do love those guys!
