Stephen will be 32 in June. He has been doing his own laundry since 5th grade. Since he was 10.

Last Wednesday, he washed white towels with a red doormat--on hot. Although the photos don't truly reflect the outcome, we now have five rust colored towels and one rust colored bathmat. Five rust colored towels that we will have through the end of the year because I doubt replacements can be found with the made in the USA label, and much like underwear, towels are not something I would buy secondhand.





To be fair, Stephen spent four hours deep cleaning the entire house. He has reminded me of this daily since last Wednesday. I appreciate a clean house as much as the next girl, but the novelty is wearing off. Plus, I think he was looking for any reason to postpone grading papers. But I get tired of cleaning toilets so I'll take it, rust colored towels and all.
