Henry and Wyatt recently coined the phrase fat pants. It's their new term of endearment for friends of ours. If they call you fat pants, it means they like you. And we've seen quite a few old friends over the last six weeks or so, giving the boys plenty of opportunities to shout out fat pants. I know it sounds rude and we should probably put a stop to it, but it's just so funny.

Another sign that Henry and Wyatt like you--they tackle you and beat you to the ground. It's really the biggest compliment of all. For example, our friends Frans and Cecilia were just in town for a visit. The boys saw them a handful of times during the two weeks they were here. They came to our 4th of July party and stayed late into the night to celebrate and watch the fireworks.

Just as it was time to say goodnight and go to bed, Henry and Wyatt decided Frans needed a beat down.













Of course, when it was time for Frans and Cecilia to leave, the boys were unable to mask their disappointment and out came the fat pants. Fat pants, fat pants, fat pants. The boys must really like you, Frans.
