Last week Feist was in town to kick off the Outlaw Field Summer Concert Series held at the Idaho Botanical Gardens. We didn't have tickets but that didn't stop us from taking in the first part of the show! We hiked in above the Old Penitentiary, threw down our picnic blanket, and soon found ourselves surrounded by fellow poachers!



Stephen packed a lovely dinner, although the boys pretty much just ate crackers and rhubarb soup (I mean crisp). Wyatt also broke out a pair of everyone's new favorite - meat glasses!



And then we laid back and enjoyed the show. Well, kind of. To be completely honest, I was annoyed with the mess the boys made out of their dinner and the picnic blanket, which was not only littered with crumbs but also chick grass! We opted not to carry in our lawn chairs and Stephen forgot wine glasses. It was also difficult to hear from so far way.



All that said, we're headed back for Wilco later this month! We've got a whole list of ways to make our experience more enjoyable. We're savvy like that. We learn from our mistakes. Anyway, maybe we'll see you on the hillside!
