bound to happen sooner or later
12:46 PMJack has long since gone back to school but while he was here he spent lots of time playing with the boys. Jack is good at playing. He lets the boys crawl all over him. He wrestles. He builds snow forts. He sits through 30 minute Uno games. He’s a good uncle. The boys love him and are always excited to see him.
All that said, his play sessions often end in tears. One such recent example is this snowball fight.
Here is Wyatt all happy after his theater camp recital. The snowball fight is happening around him as he stops to hug his grandma.

Here is Jack throwing snowballs as the boys scurry to the car after realizing their little snowballs are no match for large, compact snowballs Jack can make.

And here is Wyatt after taking a snowball to the face. I guess he didn't make to the car in time.

So here is Uncle Jack trying to make it better. Smooth, Jack. Real smooth.
I don't know if all this crying is a causality of playing with Jack or a causality of playing rough and tumble as a boy. It could be both.
Either way, we miss you already Jack.

Hannah, I laughed out loud (but feel a bit bad about it). Poor Wyatt. The popped balloon just kills me.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad. I was laughing while taking the photos! It's just funny.
