gettin' ready
6:46 AMHenry and Wyatt turn six this month. And they are counting down the days to their birthday. Literally.
To celebrate, they have chosen a Lego themed birthday party. We've
been planning it for months. Probably since December. And by planning, I
mean the boys have been telling us what gifts they would like to
receive at this Lego themed party. In fact, Stephen and I overheard
them strategizing about what gifts they should each ask for in order to
maximize their intake.
Among all this talk of gifts, I
have actually been busy planning. And by planning, I mean scouring
Pinterest and all the crafty mom blogs I can find for ideas. It's gonna
be totally awesome. Like the most awesome party I've ever hosted.
We've mailed the invitations. The RSVPs are starting to roll in.

I've organized all the Legos by color. I am not sure why, although I think color-coded Legos will come in handy once I start decorating. Plus, I like to organize things. It calms me.
The extra Lego parts we ordered on Ebay started to arrive this week. Henry and Wyatt will be constructing something special for each guest to take home.

I've got a long list of party necessities and I'll be hitting up a handful of stores this weekend for the rest of our party supplies. Stephen needs to make the pinata. We'll probably make a Costco run.
Like I said, it's gonna be the most awesomest party ever. Stay tuned.
